Geography, CI style

We are back in that time of the year when I try to feed the kids full of stuff they’ll need to know for the state Russian competition: geography, talk about themselves, recite a poem.

The bad thing is that it’s a lot of oral practice.

Good: I do it for a short period.

Bad: there are new words.

Good: the kids are pretty ready for it.

Bad: we don’t have much CI.

Good: what new stuff we have, I can circle like mad, and they feel they’re learning at last. I know that they’re just demonstrating what they’ve actually acquired. I know now that I can circle almost anything! Poems, geography terms and descriptions, history…

Bad: I lose time on CI.

Good: I don’t lose too much. It’s almost kind of fun to take a break.
