Finals again

I gave the Ben-style final to my first-year kids today: told a story for about an hour, enjoyed the kids’ attention, and then asked them to retell after we’d had a T/F quiz (which I wrote while they were practicing retelling). Didn’t have time for the writing, as it turned out. Who knew two hours would go that fast! Anyway, it was wonderful, we got a great story, and I can’t wait to see them again next fall.
